My father was born in Bombay and attended The Sir J.J.P.B Institution and was to be the highest amongst those who passed The S.S.C.Examination in 1953. He subsequently went on to achieve a 1st Class Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Bombays Technical Instute for Science and Technology. He was awarded a full honorary Scholarship from The ex-students Jubilee fund to further his studies at London’s Imperial College of Science and Technology during which time he worked alongside Professor D.B.Spalding CBE in the field of Heat Transfer and Rocket Combustion from 1958 to 1961 and was later awarded The Prestigious DIC ( The Diploma of ‘ Membership’ of The Imperial College ). He later went on to become a Senior Architect at The World Most illustrious Car Giant Rolls Royce & Bentley Motors UK Ltd. Three months prior to his death he was due to be appointed Head of Aerospace ( Civil & Defence ) Archtectural Engineering and Design at Rolls Royce’s Aerospace Divisional HQ in Crew. Sadley he passed away due to heart failure in 1978 aged just 44 years. Deeply missed.

My husband and I are a Parsi couple in the diaspora who have been trying in vain to have a child for many years. After many failed IVF attempts, egg donation is our only hope. We're hoping to try egg donation at a clinic in India.

Yet no clinics have Parsi egg donors on their lists. We don't know if it's because they haven't bothered trying (they might assume that because many Parsis are "educated" they wouldn't want to donate). But because most Parsis know we need to procreate, wouldn't that be a reason to altruistically help others?

For us, it's important to feel a genetic link with our child. Luckily for Parsis, there might be a chance that we're vaguely related to a donor.

But what can we do to increase awareness amongst Parsis that egg (or sperm) donation is a respected way to help our community's decline? It's truly a noble cause.

I was at his reception banquet for this award in the US at the University of Oklahoma. It was very cool to see him! He read part of one of his books and made a very heartfelt speech.

As i have mentioned i am from Pakistan. I live in the city of karachi, I have studied with Parsis , they were my classfellows in school and college , but now most of them have left Pakistan.I live in a locality where a lot of Parsi families used to live, so i have lived among them. There were about 5000 Parsi in Karachi, now they are not more than 1800 people and they are only the old one .
I want someone to preach about the Parsi religion.
